Today on This Morning, Ronnie O’Sullivan substituted a frying pan for his cue during a live cookery program.

The world snooker champion showed that he is not only skilled on the green baize but also in the kitchen.

The host acknowledged, “This is surreal.” Talking to you is so much fun. We’re talking about cooking in the kitchen when this “king of the green baize” appears.”

Having battled with his weight as a kid, Ronnie ‘The Rocket’ said that he had shed two stone after visiting a nutritionist and developing a passion for cooking.

Top Of Your Game, a new cookbook by Ronnie, with 70 recipes to help you prepare meals that will help you feel your best.

Ruth did advise Ronnie to lower the heat on the hob to prevent food spitting.

She also brought up the fact that he only uses one hand when cooking, something that several of the home viewers had previously noticed.

While Ronnie’s food was devoured by the presenters, Eamonn acknowledged that the quantity meant for three or four people only seemed to fit two.

“I kind of always had a problem with my weight as a kid,” he said in his explanation. I was a little overweight and obese, and a lot of it came from eating a lot of fried food and going to the snooker club.

“Obviously, once I became a professional, I realized that in order to strive for excellence, I made an effort to eat a somewhat healthy diet. I knew there were advantages and disadvantages to eating. It simply seized control.

After I started jogging, I was able to eat everything I wanted. I had a little frame. I then put on weight as I was unable to run due to a number of ailments. Therefore, I was constantly afraid as a child that I would be too overweight.”

Startled Following the strange cookery episode, viewers of This Morning rushed to Twitter.

A spectator tweeted: “Multiple World Snooker Champion – Ronnie O’Sullivan is chef on ITV’s #ThisMorning”

“My friend just texted me saying Ronnie O’Sullivan is cooking chicken curry on #ThisMorning and now I can’t do anything until I’ve seen this,” wrote a further.

“Today’s chef on This Morning is Ronnie OSullivan,” a third person commented. I need a coffee break now since it is too euphoric for me at this time of day.
