Elgin Baylor and Jerry West combined for a scorching 79 points on 35-68 shooting to lead the Lakers. Wilt scored 72 points on 29-48 shooting with a 60.4% field goal percentage. In addition, he grabbed a game-high 18 rebounds (tying) without drawing a foul. The four-time MVP made 14 of his 18 attempts at free throws.
