The Milwaukee Bucks will play the dangerous Boston Celtics on Thursday night when they return to action following a two-day layoff.

The Bucks want to get out of their mini-slump, but they will have to overcome the Celtics, who are presently leading the Eastern Conference with a 29-8 record, to do it.

Additionally, Jrue Holiday is making his first trip back to Milwaukee since being traded just before the season began. Boston, which has won eight of its past 10 games, defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 127–120 on Wednesday night.

Milwaukee’s team may need a vacation after playing the second half of a back-to-back and coming off a game that went into overtime to put a stop to its mini-slump.

rough beginning
Following a difficult start to the season in which they lost four of their first five games, the Bucks are currently on a two-game losing streak. Despite having a 5-5 record in its previous 10 games, Milwaukee is still second in the East with a 25-12 record.

This season’s encounter between the two clubs is the second one. This season, they are slated to play each other four times.

On November 22, Boston beat Milwaukee 119-116 in their first encounter. In the victory, Jaylen Brown scored 26 points, while Brook Lopez of the losing Bucks scored 28.

Report on injuries
Jae Crowder (left adductor surgery) will not be playing for the Bucks, but Cameron Payne (concussion protocol) is expected to play. But he’s reportedly getting close to coming back.

Due to knee problems, Kristaps Porzingis is classified as day-to-day for the Celtics. Following a back-to-back, Boston may choose to rest a few of its star players.
