Kevin Durant offered his thoughts on Isaiah Stewart Wednesday night.

Before the Phoenix Suns’ Wednesday night game against the Detroit Pistons, two players from different clubs got into a heated argument that eventually turned physical.

Detroit Pistons center Isaiah Stewart reportedly punched Suns center Drew Eubanks. Security officers broke up the altercation quickly, and Stewart was subsequently taken into custody, according to accounts.

Eubanks addressed the issue and made it plain that he was okay despite being a part of the physical altercation before to the game. He continued to be irritated by the circumstances, but he made light of them before suiting up and playing in the Suns’ victory over the Pistons.

When talking about the incident, the Phoenix players played it cool, but one player in particular was more dissatisfied than angry about what had happened.

Kevin Durant told reporters on Wednesday night, “It’s unfortunate.” “It is intended to be a fraternity.”

Even while Durant is aware that things may get heated in the NBA, particularly when there is trash language involved, he nevertheless hopes his colleagues can take a lesson from this episode and steer clear of a situation like this one in the future.

He concluded, “I know guys get into stuff, and stuff happens.” “In this league, we try not to do that, but [crap] happens. We are able to move past it. We all have Drew’s back and are here to support him.

To decide what to do next, the NBA will investigate the event. If the league can demonstrate that the incident occurred as claimed, then Stewart may be in for some trouble.

Since the Pistons’ January 28 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder, Stewart has not touched the floor. He may be suspended for an additional eight games if the NBA’s investigation is completed over the break.
