Prior to her appearance on “CBS Sunday Morning” this morning, her memoir was ranked number 25 on Amazon.

“Call her,” a 992 page book, will be released on Tuesday morning.

But following her Gayle King interview, Barbra climbed to the #4 spot on Amazon. She is prepared. The heavy book costs thirty-two dollars at retail.

He said to King that although she didn’t want to perform live again, you can be sure that she will if the cost of tickets is high enough.

 

The remainder of the interview focused on her harsh mother, her father’s early death, a few oblique allusions to bygone relationships, and a statement from her husband James Brolin.

The interview’s most insightful segment was when King was given a tour of parts of his estate, which included a fictitious mall with several “stores” showcasing her various collections. Sotheby’s and Christie’s must be choking to get into an auction one day, was all I could imagine. Absurd!
