The World Snooker Championship was recently won by Ronni O’Sullivan for the seventh time in his career.
The oldest child of snooker world champion Ronnie O’Sullivan has sworn never to allow the champion to see his three-year-old grandchild. O’Sullivan and his then-partner Sally-Ann Magnus gave birth to Taylor Ann-Magnus in 1996, but sources state that the couple’s relationship ended after just two years.
Taylor-Ann, who is 25 years old, has stated that O’Sullivan is not a part of her life. When she was a teenager, she last saw the 46-year-old. Zarah-Ann, Taylor-Ann’s young daughter, won’t know who O’Sullivan is as she grows up. Taylor-Ann would not allow him to meet his grandchild if he asked to.
“He’s not part of my life,” she stated to the Mirror. That kind of person is not someone I would want near me or my child. The last time I saw him, I was either 17 or 18, and even though that doesn’t justify what he did, I did forgive him in my heart.
“Over the past eight years, I’ve been content. I’m fine with him not being there; I’ve accepted that. However, ever since having my daughter, I’ve felt that I truly don’t want that person in my life.
O’Sullivan has been contacted by Express Sport for comment. Last week, O’Sullivan defeated Judd Trump at the Crucible to win his seventh world championship. He now shares the record for the most world titles with Stephen Hendry, and he celebrated with his youngest kids, Lily and Ronnie Jr.
However, Taylor-Ann did not watch with the 4.5 million people who did. She claims that because she doesn’t use social media, she didn’t even know he had made it to the final.
Adding, “I don’t watch him,” she said. Since I don’t use social media, I was unaware that he was in the final. I don’t pay any attention to it.
According to the article, Taylor-Ann rents an apartment in Essex and works for a car company, but she has no intention of approaching O’Sullivan, who received £500,000 for his most recent victory, for money. “I wouldn’t expect anything anyway, and I don’t need or want his money.”

Zarah-Ann won’t be aware of her grandfather’s professional background until Taylor-Ann feels it’s appropriate to enlighten her. It’s challenging. People might discover things online and get in touch with her about them when she starts school and as time goes on, she continued.
“As a heads-up, I might let her know when she gets older. When I get to that bridge, I will cross it.
Two years prior, Taylor-Ann went even farther in the Sun newspaper, saying that O’Sullivan was “not fit” to be called a grandfather. “He may be a world champion to some, but in my opinion, he’s not worthy of the title of ‘Dad,’ let alone ‘Grandad.'”
“Zarah-Ann won’t know his true identity as she grows up. He has made a lot of promises, but there is a big difference between what he says and does.
