Ryan Jack’s future in Scotland may be discussed, as Philippe Clement suggests….
After yet another injury, Rangers manager Philippe Clement has alluded to talks regarding Ryan Jack’s future in Scotland.
Even though Ryan Jack participated in the final four Rangers games prior to the international break, he returned from Scotland duty with a different problem.
Rangers have once again lost a key player in the middle of a pivotal stretch of the season, even though the player only played 11 minutes out of 180 for his country.
Speaking following Rangers’ 1-1 draw with Aberdeen, where he may have used Ryan Jack, Philippe Clement says he’s thinking about having talks with Scotland.
“That’s something we can consider,” Clement said. “As a player, I have also encountered that circumstance.
“That one instant when you realize your body is having more trouble handling both because you never get a chance to relax.”
“I want to talk with my medical staff about those things first, but we’ll see in a few weeks if we need to have this talk or not.”
Jacko is still questionable for an injury.
In addition, Philippe Clement hinted that Ryan Jack might not play for the Rangers on Thursday against Aris Limassol.
Although the Scotland international wasn’t completely ruled out by the Belgian manager, these soundbites are pretty obvious.
We’d be shocked if Ryan Jack is included in the Europa League starting lineup, and we’ll be anticipating an update prior to the Premiership game at Ibrox against St. Mirren.
“At present, we are unsure,” stated Philippe Clement. “I don’t think it will take long—more like a short while—but I’m not sure if he’ll be prepared for Thursday.
“I anticipate it being on the edge.”
Ryan Jack: Rangers or Scotland?
Given the severity of the injury problems that have disrupted Ryan Jack’s Rangers career, it is difficult to feel indifferent towards him.
That being said, the former Aberdeen captain is no stranger to this matchup with Scotland.
Ryan Jack’s training methods were criticized by Steven Gerrard in the past, and the player is once more returning from international duty unavailable to the Rangers.
The manager of Scotland doesn’t seem to give a damn.
This can’t go on for a Rangers team that has, for the better part of a decade, underperformed – at least in terms of hardware.
All we really need are players who are committed to providing for the fans and the club on a consistent basis.
Ryan Jack’s injury kept him out of the last European Championship, and he needs to think carefully about how he wants to play next summer if he wants to stay at Rangers.
Scotland qualified for the tournament in Germany in 2024, and if Ryan Jack, 31, wants to stay at Rangers after that, then this has to be his final game with the national team.
Ryan Jack’s Rangers future is at stake because his contract expires in the summer.
