We present to you the schedule for the 2024 World Snooker Grand Prix.
Following The Masters, the World Grand Prix 2024 has arrived, and today Ronnie O’Sullivan, the recent champion, is back in the news and at the table.
After delivering a vicious tirade at his opponent after the intense match, O’Sullivan’s amazing triumph over Ali Carter on Sunday has been widely publicized in the press.
A suspenseful finish that seemed to favor O’Sullivan saw Carter call some of the supporters of Ally Pally “morons” and “haven’t got enough brains”; however, The Rocket retaliated in a news conference, saying, “He needs to sort his f***ing life out.” I will no longer avoid it, tread carefully near someone of that kind. He is an absolute nightmare.”
Though they are scheduled for separate sessions, both men are expected to play today. The fierce rivals will be kept apart until the championship match, should both make it past the round of 32 this week, as Carter is positioned in the top half of the draw and O’Sullivan in the bottom half.
The excitement among snooker fans will only increase as the new year brings attention back to the unavoidably dramatic World Snooker Championship in April.
