Talk about social justice has been at an all-time high during the past few days. Though there has been a great deal of support and almost everyone has something to say, talk is cheap, as Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown recently made extremely evident in an interview.

When asked if he was confident in the long-term commitment to change, given that several NBA leadership groups have contributed to opposing perspectives, Brown responded negatively. Although Brown was reluctant to discuss the ownership groups in detail, he quickly turned the inquiry into a powerful declaration of his own.

“Many promises are being made.”
