OFFICIAL NEWS: NBA have FIRE Up a not nice Controversial AGAINST CELITICS Due to…

On Monday night at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, the undermanned Celtics fell to the Pacers 133-131 in a heartbreaking loss, but not before a little drama.

With 3.2 seconds left in a tie game (131–121), Buddy Hield fouled Jaylen Brown trying a jump jumper from the right corner, setting up the Celtics with a chance to grab the lead. The play was reversed, though, because the Pacers contested the foul call on the court. The ruling startled Boston’s bench, who believed Hield had touched Brown’s head with his arm during the jumpshot duel.

Following the defeat, Joe Mazzulla told reporters in Indiana, “I thought we handled it right.” “We’ll see what occurs at 4 p.m. tomorrow. I am eager for 4 o’clock to arrive. “I am eagerly awaiting the Last 2 Minute Report as Buddy Hield informed me that he fouled him.”

The ball was awarded to Indiana after the Hield foul was reversed, forcing the Celtics to play defense for the final 3.2 seconds of the game instead of having the opportunity to seize the lead at the free throw line or, at least, run out the clock with a final shot attempt. With 0.6 seconds left, Kristaps Porzingis was penalized for a foul while trying to dispute a timeout Indiana used to move the ball past halfcourt.

The Pacers took a 133-131 lead when Mathurin converted two of his three free throw attempts following the 3-point foul. In the last 0.3 seconds, Boston had one more opportunity to tie the game, but Luke Kornet’s tip off an inbounds lob at the buzzer was unsuccessful.

The Pacers’ victory ended the Celtics’ two-game winning run and even the season series between the two clubs at two games. Later this month, they will return to Boston for their last game of the season.
