There is no question about who the best two teams in the conference are going to play for the NFC Championship. Throughout the entire season, the San Francisco 49ers and Philadelphia Eagles have been dominant. Here we have the ideal pairing that could exist.
The 49ers are the team that everyone speaks about when it comes to defense, but the Eagles also boast the third-best defense in the league. I believe that Jalen Hurts’ amazing season has somewhat obscured that fact. For this reason, I predicted that the Eagles will win this game 26–20 in my post of predictions.
This would also be the best scenario for Denver Broncos fans in terms of their choice of 2023 NFL Draft pick. In the worst-case scenario, the Broncos will select 29th overall if the 49ers lose. It becomes the 28th overall pick if the Cincinnati Bengals win as well. There will only be 31 first-round picks this year due to the Miami Dolphins forfeiting a pick in the first round.
