NBA All-Star 2024: Preview and predictions for the Skills Challenge, 3-Point Shooting Competition, “Steph vs. Sabrina,” and Dunk Contest

A celebration of today’s top players will take place on the court in 2024 when a large number of living superstars on the court to entertain the crowd. The NBA Slam Dunk Contest and 3-Point Contest will be the pregame on Saturday night before the All-Star Game begins on Sunday. “Stephen vs. Sabrina,” a unique three-point shootout involving WNBA player Sabrina Ionescu and Stephen Curry, will also take place on All-Star Saturday.
This year’s contests will once again feature the reigning winners of the three-point and dunk competitions. As a member of the Milwaukee Bucks, Damian Lillard is starting the NBA All-Star Game for the first time in his career. He is also returning to the three-point competition, which he won with the Portland Trail Blazers the previous year. The spectacular winner from last year, Mac McClung, is returning to the dunk contest as an Orlando Magic associate guard in the G League.

After the Skills Challenge, the 2024 Starry 3-Point Contest will be the second All-Star Saturday event. The event will begin on Saturday, February 17 at some point between 8:30 and 9 p.m. ET, however the actual start time remains unknown.
Milwaukee Bucks star Malik Beasley: Beasley is among the best shooting specialists in the NBA. In his rookie campaign with the Milwaukee Bucks, he has been lighting up the three-point line, making 44.9 percent of his 6.4 attempts.
Jalen Brunson, Knicks of New York: Due in great part to his growth as a three-point shooter, Brunson is making his first All-Star appearance of his career. With 6.5 attempts per game, the Knicks star is hitting 41.1 percent of his threes. 139 of his three-pointers made this season are already a lifetime high for him.
Tyrese Haliburton of the Indiana Pacers is the NBA leader in assists per contest. In addition, he is converting 40% of his 7.9 three-point tries a game. This season, he has established himself as one of the NBA’s top offensive players and the point guard of the future.
DLillard of the Milwaukee Bucks: Lillard is the current victor. He’s been in a serious rut lately and is having one of his worst shooting seasons ever. With 8.4 attempts per game this season, Lillard is making 34.4 percent of his threes, which is a significant decline from his stats from the previous campaign in Portland. In this match, will the 33-year-old be able to get back on track?
Lauri Markkanen, Jazz of Utah: One of the two 7-footers in the competition is Markkanen. Since moving to Utah, the Jazz forward has improved greatly as a shooter, which has allowed him to take a significant step forward in his offensive game. Despite getting eight chances a game this year, he is making 40.4 percent of his threes.
