LeBron James’ Wife Savannah Explains Why She’s Stayed Away From the Spotlight in Rare Interview……
Throughout LeBron James’s almost two-decade NBA career, Savannah James, his wife, has chosen to maintain a low profile. She says in a recent interview why.
Savannah James won’t be appearing on Basketball Wives very soon.
Over the course of LeBron James’s almost two-decade NBA career, his spouse has eschewed the spotlight. The 36-year-old, who has children with the NBA player—LeBron “Bronny” James Jr., 18, Bryce James, 15, and Zhuri James, 8—explains her modest profile in a rare interview.
“I just really wanted to enjoy being a mom and supporting my husband,” Savannah stated in a May 11 cover interview with The Cut. Savannah and the NBA player first crossed paths when they were adolescents. “I wasn’t super-comfortable with putting myself out like that.”
Savannah, who has been married to her husband for almost 20 years, seldom ever goes to public events with him. However, in February, she made an uncommon appearance with their children when the Los Angeles Lakers forward was recognized for being the NBA’s all-time greatest scorer, defeating Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. And a month later, Savannah was pictured at the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party looking stunning.
Savannah stays out of the spotlight most of the time, although she is active on social media. In fact, she has 2.2 million followers on Instagram and 205,000 subscribers to her YouTube channel with Zhuri, where she periodically shares pictures and videos of herself and the family.
“Sometimes I’m like, ‘Oh, my gosh, a little bit much,'” Speaking about the attention she gets online, Savannah told The Cut. “However, I understand and don’t mind. I realized that perhaps this was simply my current situation and that now was my chance to, um, make an impression.”
