In their Euro 2024 qualifying match against Ukraine on Tuesday, Italy returned to winning ways, but the crowd was more interested in the uncomfortable exchange between Nicolo Zaniolo and Mattia Zaccagni.
Because Nicolo Zaniolo, a former Roma player, dated Mattia Zaccagni’s wife, Chiara Nasti, the relationship between the two is troubled.
The manager made many changes following Italy’s draw with North Macedonia, and the Aston Villa forward was one of the players selected to start for Italy against Ukraine.
Following their most recent victory over Ukraine, the two players celebrated independently of one another.
In April 2021, Chiara Nasti ended her relationship with Nicolò Zaniolo and began dating Mattia Zaccagni, a winger for Lazio.
The Daily Mail claims that the couple has just been married for two months and that they had their son Thiago in November of last year.
The romance began in May of last year when Roma supporters yelled, “Zaccagni’s son is Zaniolo,” in celebration of the Giallorossi’s Europa Conference League victory.
In the encounter with Feyenoord, Zaniolo scored the game-winning goal to lead Roma to their first European title in sixty years.
In the video, Zaniolo can be seen laughing along with the derogatory lyrics as hundreds of fans cheer the squad on as they welcome them home. It looks like he was enjoying the chant.
Because of the yells, Zaccagni’s wife Nasti had to turn off comments on her social media accounts.
Although their relationship ended in 2021, the former Roma striker and Sara Scaperotta did have a child together.
