Ronnie O’Sullivan has once again raised doubts about his snooker career after defeating Zhou Yuelong 4-3 to get to the World Grand Prix quarterfinals in Leicester.
Four days following his contentious victory over Ali Carter in the eighth Masters, O’Sullivan declared he was no longer enjoying his relatively easy path through competitions.
O’Sullivan extended his record number of titles and became the event’s youngest and oldest winner when he overcame Carter in a stunning comeback, winning 10-7 after behind 6-3. The 48-year-old set a goal for himself at the beginning of the week to win eight titles at the World Snooker Championship, Masters, and UK Championship.
