JUDD TRUMP IS “FAVORITE” TO WIN THE 2024 WORLD SNOOKER CHAMPIONSHIP, SAYS RONNIE O’SULLIVAN. “Sheffelfield is a unique animal.”
When he thought back on his victory in the World Grand Prix, Ronnie O’Sullivan was modest. In the Sunday final, the world No.
1 defeated Judd Trump 10-7 to maintain his amazing form and add a major championship to his December and early January wins at the UK Championship and the Masters. He claims that Trump is the favorite going into the World Championship, though.
Despite winning his third major championship in as many days on Sunday at the World Grand Prix, Ronnie O’Sullivan believes that Judd Trump is the man to beat at this year’s World Snooker Championship.
The Rocket overcame a 4-0 deficit to defeat Trump 10-7 in the Leicester final.

“I think I have a chance if I can find some consistency.”Although I think Judd is the best player for Sheffield, he is a warrior, and I have three months to attempt to improve my consistency. Enjoying a trip there will be pleasant.”
After defeating Trump, the 48-year-old said in an interview with ITV that he feels like he’s playing the finest snooker right now and is the youngest player at the table.
He remarked, “I feel young in my head when I play snooker.” “I realize that 48 is just a number, but I feel like I lose about 20 years when I play.”I feel so alive. I don’t think age is truly a problem at the table as long as I still feel young. My experience is assisting me. I’ve been playing for a while, have a ton of experience, and have won a number of tournaments. I’ve picked up a lot of knowledge about the game. I think my all-around game is better now than it has ever been.
