After having his first encounter with Celtics great Larry Bird just prior to the NBA All-Star game, Jayson Tatum says he is fired up.

During NBA All-Star Weekend, Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown did a great job representing the Boston Celtics. They won the All-Star Game in Indiana on Sunday night to finish off the celebrations.

The Eastern Conference All-Stars defeated the Western Conference 211-186 thanks in large part to Boston’s well-liked combination. In his second year as a starter and fifth All-Star, Tatum finished with 20 points (8-13 FG, 4-9 3-PT) in 21 minutes. With 36 points in 22 minutes off the bench in his third All-Star Game, Brown was the second-highest scorer for the East.

 

Damian Lillard of the Milwaukee Bucks, who won the 3-point battle for the second consecutive year, finished with a team-high 39 points on 14 of 26 shots (11-23 3-PT), earning him the title of All-Star MVP.

Tyrese Haliburton, a guard with the Pacers, scored 32 points in front of his local fans. A game-high 50 points were scored by Karl-Anthony Towns on 23 of 35 shots (4-13 3-PT).
