Elliotte Friedman reports that Craig Berube and the Toronto Maple Leafs may talk this weekend. In an intriguing development, Elliotte Friedman disclosed this afternoon on the Jeff Marek program that Craig Berube would probably be interviewed by the Maple Leafs shortly, maybe even this weekend. Although the attention appears to be on Berube, he also made hints about Todd McLellan being a possible contender.
This week, David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period revealed that the Maple Leafs are considering Berube as their potential new head coach. Berube, 58, appeared as a guest on The Leafs Nation in January alongside Nick Alberga and former Leaf Jay Rosehill. In answer to a query regarding the Leafs, Berube said, “Coaching there for the Toronto Maple Leafs, if that ever happened, would be an honor.” It’s one of the world’s best hockey markets, if not the greatest. a fantastic company that puts forth considerable effort to succeed.
The St. Louis Blues were led by Craig Berube from 2018 until 2023, and in 2019 they were the Stanley Cup winners. Six teams are in need of a head coach at the moment, including Toronto. The teams in search of a new head coach are the New Jersey Devils, LA Kings, Seattle Kraken, Winnipeg Jets, and San Jose Sharks.
