Daniel Jeremiah Projects Raiders and 49ers Selections in the NFL Mock Draft Following the 2024 Super Bowl.
When NFL.com draft guru Daniel Jeremiah unveiled his most recent mock draft on Tuesday, he made the prediction that two West Coast clubs will take distinct routes to take care of their most pressing needs.
Terrion Arnold, an Alabama cornerback, is predicted to be selected by the Las Vegas Raiders with the No. 13 pick.
“Arnold is a big-time playmaker who is just scratching the surface of his potential,” Jeremiah said. “This would be a perfect marriage of need and talent.”
In 2023, Arnold, a redshirt sophomore for the Crimson Tide, is coming off a spectacular season. In all, he recorded 63 tackles, 12 passes defensed, five interceptions, a forced fumble, and a sack. Arnold is ranked first by B/R’s NFL Scouting Department on the most recent draft big board.
Jeremiah projected that the San Francisco 49ers would choose Duke offensive lineman Graham Barton with the No. 31 pick, which means they will need to fill a void on the offensive end.
Barton is expected to move inside to guard in the NFL after playing left tackle at Duke. In B/R’s draft big board, he is rated as the third interior offensive lineman. After 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy was under duress during Super Bowl LVIII, when the team lost to the Kansas City Chiefs, he would undoubtedly fit a need.
