Congrats to Doc Rivers and his spouse on their anniversary of being married today! They said something that astonished everyone.
It was revealed on Monday that ESPN has added two new players to its elite NBA broadcast team: Doc Rivers and Doris Burke will sit in the booth alongside Mike Breen for the network’s biggest games, including the NBA Finals on ABC.
Mark Jackson and Jeff Van Gundy, who called NBA games for ESPN alongside Breen for years before leaving the network earlier this year in a widely reported round of layoffs that took the lives of over a dozen ESPN on-air personalities, will be replaced by Rivers and Burke.

After playing in the NBA, Rivers went on to become a coach, most notably with the Philadelphia 76ers. She had previously provided analysis for ABC during the 2004 NBA Finals. For the last nine years, Burke has covered the NBA Finals on ABC as a sideline reporter. Rivers and Burke have agreed to multi-year contracts with ESPN and the NFL, respectively. Breen is going into his 19th year of covering the NBA Finals and is still ESPN’s primary NBA play-by-play commentator.
In other ESPN news, Bob Myers, the former general manager of the Golden State Warriors, will be joining the network to work as a studio and game analyst. He will be seen on NBA Countdown, the network’s pregame show.
NBA Countdown will also be hosted by Malika Andrews, who will be joined by Adrian Wojnarowski, Michael Wilbon, and Stephen A. Smith. Next season, Ryan Ruocco, JJ Redick, and Richard Jefferson will call games for ESPN as part of a second NBA broadcast team.

People are enjoying the pictures that resulted from Melania Trump’s uncommon Saturday appearance, where she joined husband Donald Trump at a Palm Beach fundraiser hosted at billionaire investor John Paulson’s house.
Her decision to attend the event the following day after missing the fundraiser at Mar-a-Lago on Friday, where she was supposed to receive a “Child Advocacy Award” (which Trump accepted on her behalf), caused some to comment, pointing out that she seemed unenthusiastic about it, as if she was “checking the clock.”
Tonight, Melania appears to be in a hostage video. MTN Editor-in-Chief Ron Filipkowski posts a video from the fundraising to X (previously Twitter) along with the words, “Blink twice if you need help.”
