On Christmas Day, RONNIE O’SULLIVAN AND JUDD TRUMP ARE SCHEDULED TO PLAY SNOOKER AT MACAU SNOOKER MASTERS

World No. 1 Ronnie O’Sullivan has committed to compete in the Macau Masters, so he will be playing snooker throughout the holiday season. The seven-time world champion promoted the event on Wednesday at the five-star Wynn Palace hotel in the resort city on China’s south coast, where he was joined by Judd Trump, Jack Lisowski, Marco Fu, and recent Crucible semifinalist Si Jiahui.

The Macau Snooker Masters, which starts in the resort city on Christmas Day, will include an eight-player invitational competition featuring Ronnie O’Sullivan and Judd Trump.
On June 28, the past world champions, together with Jack Lisowski, Marco Fu, and recent Crucible semifinalist Si Jiahui, took a plane to promote the event in Asia.

Local media sources state that Ding Junhui, Kyren Wilson, and Mark Williams have all been invited to participate, with a £150,000 prize awarded to the winner.

The German Masters qualifications are scheduled to conclude in Sheffield on December 22, and the five-day event is scheduled to start on December 25 at the opulent Wynn Palace hotel in Cotai, Macua, three days later.
Williams advanced to the 2018 Macau Masters final, which Barry Hawkins won 3-2. However, the event on China’s southern coast is not included on the official World Snooker Tour schedule.

Following his 13–10 defeat at the hands of Luca Brecel in the World Championship quarterfinals in April, O’Sullivan had declared his intention to concentrate on Asia.
