The Boston Celtics that took part in the NBA’s 2024 All-Star Game saw their prosperity come to an end.
A lot of things changed over the week of All-Star festivities, but maybe none more than the All-Star Game itself.
The goal score endings and charity for every quarter of the competition were eliminated, as was the playground-style team selection between East and West. With a record-breaking offensive output, the apparent goal—stronger player efforts on both ends of the court—was clearly not achieved. But, there were some positive aspects of the week-long event. What were the positive, negative, and irreversibly broken aspects?
