The Boston Celtics defeated the New York Knicks once more, even with the assistance of some talented new players.

Losing to the Boston Celtics provided Bojan Bogdanovic and Alec Burks with what appears to be their official 2023–24 New York Knicks christening.

The Knicks suffered a 116-102 defeat at Madison Square Garden on Saturday night, despite their appearance being somewhat different this time around due to prolonged medical absences. Despite their season-long success, the Knicks (34–23) have found it difficult to defeat the NBA-leading Celtics, who have extended their record against New York to 4-0.

With Jaylen Brown scoring 30 points, all five Boston starters scored in double figures.

On Monday night (7:30 p.m. ET, MSG), the Knicks host the hapless Detroit Pistons, who could provide some much-needed relief.
