Breaking news:Ray Parlour Makes Bold Europa League Final Prediction After West Ham Top Group……..
On Thursday night, the Hammers defeated Freiburg 2-0 to win their group and guarantee their spot in the Europa League’s round of 16. Following their Conference League title the previous season, Parlour declared he would not back the team led by David Moyes to win the championship:
“They’ll be optimistic that they can reach that final once more if they can go on a run, as they’ve already experienced the Europa Conference League final, which was an amazing campaign for the West Ham supporters.”
“Many of the West Ham supporters that I know traveled in large numbers throughout Europe to watch their team play and win the tournament, and they will be hoping for a little more of that.”
We obviously want to see as many English clubs participating in the competition as possible, and last night’s result was significant.
In the past 16 games, three more British teams have joined West Ham.
Liverpool, Brighton, and Rangers, along with Atalanta, Bayer Leverkusen, Villarreal, and Slavia Prague, all finished first in their Europa League groups and will not advance to the next round.
The teams that placed second in their groups and the teams that were eliminated from the Champions League will compete in the playoff round.
In the next round, West Ham might play against some well-known teams.
Apart from the teams already mentioned, the Irons could potentially be paired with teams like AC Milan, Roma, Benfica, Sporting Lisbon, or.
David Moyes’ team will also benefit from having to play two fewer games as a result of topping the group; they will play their next competition games in early March.
