Breaking News:Paul Robinson made a big decision today

Paul Robinson, a former Leeds United player, would prefer Joe Rodon to remain at Elland Road indefinitely and would support a specific trade if it were possible.

Under Daniel Farke, the center-back, who is currently on loan from Tottenham, has established himself as a mainstay at the core of the defense.

Given Spurs’ excellent center-back duo of Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero, the Welsh defender probably has no future there; therefore, a deal for the 26-year-old could be reached.

One proposal to bring Rodon to Leeds is a swap agreement with Tottenham, in which case Willy Gnonto would leave.

The former goalkeeper stated, “Joe Rodon has been fantastic this year, and regardless of any deals that can be made, I’d like to see him at the club permanently.”

“I think it’s unfair that he hasn’t found his level. Given the chance, he excels as a center-half at Tottenham. His quickness has also demonstrated in the Championship that he is more than capable of playing at this level.

“He is a very good player. Whether Leeds plays in the Championship or the Premier League, I think he’ll do incredibly well there. As for a deal, I think the club should and will look at it.

You don’t know if Willy Gnonto is involved in that or not. Is Gnonto talented enough to play for the Spurs? He’s not doing it regularly at the moment and is having difficulty breaking into the Leeds squad.
