Breaking News;Carter Warren’s chances of playing in the game are still in the hopes of the Jets………
Man, you haven’t been watching the offensive line closely enough if you thought the Jets’ quarterback rotation was awful.
Wes Schweitzer, a guard, is out of the New York Jets’ Sunday game against the 7-5 Houston Texans. Schweitzer was able to return from injured reserve in time to start at right guard in last week’s 13-8 loss to the Atlanta Falcons by the Jets.
Despite being able to play through his calf injury against Atlanta, he looks to have had a setback, so the team has decided to rule him out this Sunday. After suffering a calf back injury during a game against the New York Giants on October 29, Schweitzer was placed on injured reserve the next day.
If the Jets’ new offensive lineman lineup weren’t so depressing and predictable, it would be hilarious. The Jets offensive line will be in its tenth iteration for the season. In 13 games, the offensive line of the Jets has changed ten times.
“My choice would be Denver. Looking back to Week 5, that was the last time we had the same o-line,” Saleh remarked.
Due to injuries, the Jets have used 13 different offensive linemen this season. Over the first 13 weeks of the season, the team has been forced to start six different players at right guard alone. They have used three different blindside protectors and five different right tackles.
Another worrying development is that Pittsburgh native Carter Warren, a rookie right tackle,
“I believed that the previous year was the worst ever. “I don’t know if there’s a better word for it, but last year was carnage,” Saleh remarked. “People are moving across the scrimmage line. Joe Tippmann moves from center to guard, while Carter Warren moves from left to right. Iron Man, your left guard, has been improving each week with Laken.”
To his credit, Tomlinson has been the only constant along the line, starting at left guard in each of the team’s first three games.
Carter Warren is still expected to be able to suit up and play right tackle for the Jets. Max Mitchell will move inside and play right guard if that is the case. Should Warren not be able to go,
Despite all the publicity, it is nothing compared to what the Jets’ front five are dealing with. Almost none of it matters who starts at quarterback if they can’t resolve the issue early on.
