O’Sullivan had a few minutes to collect himself before heading to the Eurosport studio, but speaking with Jimmy White, Reanne Evans, and Radzi Chinyanganya didn’t make him feel any better.

When asked how tough snooker it be to play poorly, O’Sullivan said, “Awful, horrible.” To be honest, I’ve always considered this game to be rather difficult.
Jimmy White analyzed a lackluster game and noted how terribly Hawkins performed.

“I think Barry Hawkins was shocked by how many mistakes O’Sullivan made and how many opportunities he had,” he remarked. “Barry Hawkins will be so disappointed.” Barry had a 4-2 lead but missed a ton of balls.Ronnie was having trouble with the chances that were coming his way quickly. Barry will be heartbroken that he didn’t take advantage of them.
O’Sullivan will be looking for a stronger performance when he encounters Shaun Murphy or Jack Lisowski in the last-four.
