And more, Jim Montgomery has accomplished. The Boston Bruins are on a fantastic run this season and are playing their best hockey under his leadership. Montgomery had achieved success before moving to Boston, and their performance reflects this.
Jim Montgomery, the head coach of Montgomery Career, has experience as both a coach and a player in this league. He previously served as the Dallas Stars’ coach in 2018–19 and 2019–20 until being fired due to problems off the ice. They completed with a 43-32-7 record in his first season in Dallas, and they advanced to the postseason. Before he was let go, he coached 32 games the next season with a 17-11-3 record. Montgomery’s success came quickly, and it followed him to Boston.
With the younger players, he has a way. Furthermore, as you can hear from his interview on Spittin Chiclets, Montgomery is a player coach. Montgomery managed the power play for the St. Louis Blues while working as an assistant. He spent time training with Jordan Kyrou and Robert Thomas, two young players who are now essential members of the Blues team. As of right now, it appears that young players under Montgomery, such Derek Forbort, Connor Clifton, Trent Frederic, and Jake DeBrusk, have improved on their performances from the previous campaign.
