After winning the Australian Open, Stefanos Tsitsipas makes Margot Robbie’s intentions clear: “Unquestionably”
Stefanos Tsitsipas want to present a particular Academy Award nominee with his skills. Tsitsipas, who defeated Jiri Lehecka of the Czech Republic in the 2023 Australian Open quarterfinal on Tuesday, took a strange turn in his post-match interview when he talked about how much he loved Australia’s Margot Robbie.
“Australia is such a wonderful nation, really. The Greek athlete, 24, grinned and continued, “I like a lot of Aussie stuff. You know, one of my favorite actresses is from Australia, Margot Robbie.
Jim Courier, a commentator, questioned Tsitsipas about whether he was extending an offer to the 32-year-old “Babylon” actress. The tennis pro remarked, gesturing to the seats, “It would be nice to see her over there one day.”
After confirming that he was “absolutely” inviting Robbie to see him perform, Tsitsipas received applause from the Melbourne Park audience. Robbie is an avid sports enthusiast and will be starring in the much awaited “Barbie” movie this summer. Over the years, she has gone to New York Rangers games, and in 2015, she was photographed in the Madison Square Garden stands with her now-husband, Tom Ackerley.
