The chance to make trades to bolster the Boston Celtics’ roster has passed with the NBA’s 2024 trade deadline. However, Boston added Jaden Springer and Xavier Tillman, Sr. before the deadline to strengthen their strong lineup before the 2024 postseason begins.

The Eastern Conference’s various clubs made moves to try to challenge Boston in the postseason, thus the league surrounding the Celtics did not remain stagnant. In particular, On might present the Celtics with challenges they previously wouldn’t have been able to. Fortunately, Boston still has a roster place available for a buyout or unsigned talent in case the unidentified Eastern Conference team is able to offer the Celtics more than we can all agree upon.
