Deebo Samuel was a standout player on the field and on the sidelines if you saw any of the San Francisco 49ers vs. Los Angeles Rams primetime game.
Early in the fourth quarter, after Samuel scored his second touchdown of the game to increase San Francisco’s lead to 31-7, he was given a personalized iced-out chain, which holds more significance in the 49ers locker room than its sparkle and glamour.
Even though cornerback Jason Verrett had to leave the game in Week 1 due to an injury, he is still showing his leadership and impact. Earlier in the season, Verrett bought the gems created by Rafaello & Co. as a way to honor a player who made a significant play. Since then, the work has taken on the title

Earlier in the season, Verrett bought the gems created by Rafaello & Co. as a way to honor a player who made a significant play. The item is now referred to as the “Game Changer” chain.
Samuel was also worthy of praise during the 49ers’ Week 10 primetime victory over the Rams.
JV, he was quite good for the team. You put on a play whenever you create one. That’s where it kind of originated, Samuel explained following the game.
The wide receiver for San Francisco was perfect 5-for-5 on receptions for a team-high 97 yards and a touchdown. He then added 36 yards on five carries for additional yardage, good for 133 all-purpose yards.
With 979 receiving yards this season, Samuel now trails Rams wideout Cooper Kupp (1,141) in the NFL in receiving yards. With nine games played, Samuel has the second-most receiving yards in franchise history with 979.
Additionally, Samuel is averaging a very good 18.1 yards per reception.
49ers supporters should be alert for additional players to don the chain embellished with diamonds if San Francisco can maintain the momentum gained in the primetime encounter.
