News about Liverpool’s transfer window as Serie A ball-winner is tracked and Kylian Mbappé ‘demands $1.4m a week’
Liverpool transfer news: The ‘free’ transfer opportunity is put in perspective by Kylian Mbappé’s mouthwatering apparent demands. A defensive midfielder is being considered by the Reds.
Liverpool is still the target of improbable transfer rumors involving Kylian Mbappé. Every year that goes by makes what has always seemed like a stretch for FSG less likely, but the rumors never really seem to die.
The reason for the most recent frenzy is that Real Madrid seems to be losing interest in Mbappé. Although rumors from Spain imply that a free transfer may not be in the works, the Bernabéu has long since appeared to be his most likely next destination.
That would undoubtedly allow someone else to take Mbappé’s place, unless he has another unexpectedly dramatic change of heart and decides to rejoin PSG. But fresh information about the ostensibly involved numbers would undoubtedly
In a more practical sense, Liverpool is searching the transfer market for possible additions to their midfield. Should Jürgen Klopp choose to use Alexis Mac Allister there on a permanent basis, a number six could be on the horizon. There’s a top ball-winner in Italy’s Serie A who has drawn attention.
This is Liverpool.com’s assessment of the transfer rumors that have been circulating about the Reds lately. Let’s start by examining those astounding Mbappé numbers.
Mbappé Kylian (PSG)
Sport Witness reports that AS claims Real Madrid might object to any agreement for Mbappé. He would command a huge signing-on fee and enormous wages, even though he might be available as a “free” agent.

Unexpected things continue to be said about Liverpool.
The crewneck of the 2023 reimagining of a classic LFC uniform from the 1995–96 season has a digital effect treatment layering green tones, which are referred to as green spark, poison green, and pine green. The Reds will travel with it on their uniform for the 2023–2024 season.
Clearly, this is’silly money’ and then some, according to Liverpool.com. Even Real Madrid is flinching at the figures, so perhaps Saudi Arabia could accommodate Mbappé’s purported demands, but it’s safe to say that few in Europe will be interested.
The signing-on bonus of an estimated $108 million (£87 million/€100 million) further emphasizes how unlikely it is that Mbappé will ever sign a contract with Liverpool. Talk of a move to Anfield is absurd unless the player’s demands are being egregiously misreported, which is definitely not impossible.
However, Mbappé rejected the Saudi offer in the summer. Therefore, if he wants to leave PSG and Real Madrid isn’t making a move, his demands might be lowered.
Morten Frendrup, a newer (and far more grounded in reality)
Liverpool is ‘keeping tabs’ on Frendrup, according to Get Italian Football News. Though his creativity is not his main asset, curious observers have watched him rack up three assists in 12 games thus far this season.
Strong disruptors include frendrup. No other regular starter in the division can match his 5.5 tackles and interceptions per 90 possessions in Serie A this season, according to the report.
According to Liverpool.com, this makes a lot more sense! Whether or not to keep Mac Allister at the base of his midfield is a decision that Klopp must make; if he eventually wants him further forward, bringing in a specialist like Frendrup may be necessary.
That choice may be made in January, or it may wait until the summer, as Liverpool will also need to make a center-back decision. It might get clearer soon as the winter transfer window is just a few weeks away.
