Notably, O’Sullivan won his first title at the age of 17, making him the youngest-ever UK champion. Along with 40 ranking event medals, he has also won the UK Championship in 1997, 2001, 2007, 2014, 2017, and 2018.
Despite maintaining his top ranking, O’Sullivan has cautioned supporters not to hold their breath waiting for him to win the World Championship the following year. Although the Englishman is unsure, the Rocket has won seven world titles, and his supporters are clamoring for him to win an eighth.
You are appreciated for it in a different way. Now that I have a lot of experience, I don’t worry or stress as much. There are moments when I feel like I’ve flown, yet I’m really just 7–5 up. That’s because I still have a rather high base level B and C game,” he remarked.
You just need to concentrate, so I believe that going forward, I utilize my brain more and use my expertise to win matches. Isn’t it just insane? that we are still winning events at 48 years old. It’s just beyond me.
Given that Sheffield is 17 days away, it will be difficult to complete. It will be physically difficult for me, John Higgins, or Mark Williams to prevail. We are still able to participate in these weekly competitions.
