At the 2024 Post-Standard Masters bowling competition, match play starts.
Syracuse, New York — Following the first day of match play competition in the 65th Post-Standard Masters bowling tournament, eight bowlers remain in the winners’ bracket.
Kris O’Donaghy II, Mike Obernesser, Ryan Graywacz, Dave Jecko, Darrell Van Hoose, Derek Magno, Jeremy Mazor, and David Stoddard Jr. were the bowlers that won all three of their games on Saturday.
There are 24 bowlers left in the competition; 16 have one loss and 8 are unbeaten.
The game is scheduled to resume on Sunday at AMF Strike ‘N Spare in Syracuse at 10 a.m. At 9:30 a.m., check-in starts. The opening match will not be played by bowlers in the winners’ bracket.
The following bowlers were once defeated: Art Alexander III, Brett Cunningham, Rick Lambrecht, Butch VanGordon, Kris Goodfellow, Lamar Williams, Tim Becker, Ryan Volcko, Mike Tryniski, Jack Vault, Theodore Melnyk, Jordon Mandigo, Jason Burning, RJ Blanchard, and Don Barry.
On Saturday, Cunningham rolled a 300.
